Flow Wellbeing
Flow Wellbeing is a stunning purpose built wellness centre on the edge of the four avenues in Central Christchurch. Split between two red brick buildings, Flow Yoga & Flow Therapeutics, this is a place for community, calm and wellbeing. The design of the buildings complements their locality within the historical Wards Brewery site, neighbouring the oldest building in town that is home to the much loved Pomeroy’s Old Brewery Inn and Little Pom’s.
Though bordering the busy Fitzgerald Avenue, the studios have an absolute sense of calm. Inside, every detail has been carefully thought through. Owner-operator Victoria Pomeroy, together with interior designer Sharon Cross, has created state-of-the-art spaces that ooze comfort and serenity.
Flow Yoga is, above all, a yoga school, offering two studios: the lower temperature yoga studio Earth, and the hot yoga studio Fire; both beautiful spaces to practise and find inner calm. The luxurious changing areas are a must experience and with up to sixty classes per week run by twenty-five different teachers, it is fair to say that there is something for everyone at every stage of life. On top of weekly classes and a schedule that changes monthly to keep things evolving, Flow Yoga regularly offers a number of educational events.
Flow Therapeutics, across the parking area, has two more studios, Water and Air. It is also home to consultancy rooms, such as Hañsa wellness, Acupuncture, Opti-mum pre- and postnatal services, FLOWpresso sensory therapy, Loft Skin Love beauty therapy and the only LightStim Bed in the country, which provides painless, non-invasive wellness therapy.
This wonderful wellbeing corner on the edge of the CBD is a charming place for busy people to unwind, relax and look after themselves in a gentle, beautiful environment.
