Nelson’s home of stunning hand-blown glass and neon art, flamedaisy is artist Anthony Genet’s studio and gallery. Anthony has worked with glass and neon for over 35 years and thrives on producing original pieces every time. He creates each work of art from scratch, and even makes the molten glass from sand before shaping, colouring and manipulating it into his latest artwork.

A self-taught artist, Anthony began working with glass as a teenager and opened up flamedaisy nearly two decades ago to share his art with the world. During the summer, he works long hours in the studio in full view of visitors, and over winter operates the gallery and works on his neon sculptures.

Wander in and marvel at some of the most unique pieces of glassware and art around, watch Anthony at work, and find a special art piece to take home with you.  Flamedaisy can deliver a bespoke piece of glass art to your door by specialist freight with full insurance if you’re visiting Nelson. Anthony takes glass and neon commissions, and on occasion keeps the gallery open until late as it’s the best time to view the neon art. Just look for the neon lights outside the grey and pink flamedaisy building.
