If you have a hankering for a darn delicious burger, you’ve come to the right place. Burger Burger is all about good times, good people and most importantly, good food. Think colourful and funky interiors, friendly staff, honest, delicious burgers and sides - all made in-house from top quality produce. Wash it all down with a milkshake (crafted with Duck Island ice cream), a Sawmill beer or a house-made cocktail. You’re in for a feast that hits the spot big time. Don’t forget to finish up with a candy-topped Sunday for dessert.
The brainchild of creative-lead Mimi Gilmour and executive chef Adrian Chilton, Burger Burger first appeared on the restaurant scene in 2014 after much planning and perfecting of recipes (we hear it took six months of trial and error to create the perfect burger bun). Beginning its journey in Auckland, the business now includes five spots nationwide with plans to extend across the country.
Burger Burger takes pride in being a restaurant where everyone can feel right at home - ensuring they’re catering for varying dietary needs. Naturally, there’s a heavy focus on meat (grass-fed and free range), but herbivores have certainly been considered as well. In fact, the vege burger here is so gigantic (and tasty as heck) wrapping your mouth around it is a feat of its own.
Conscious customers will appreciate the fact that Burger Burger is registered as an accredited business under New Zealand's Conscious Consumer programme. They take pride in using free range & organic products, supporting local producers and suppliers and using environmentally friendly supplies as often as possible.
Grabbing a bite at Burger Burger works a treat whether you’re popping by for a quick lunch or settling in for the long-haul with buddies or whānau (little‘uns are entertained by a huge play kitchen where they can practise their burger making skills - of course). The future will see this spot emerging as a night time destination as well. Make sure a visit to Burger Burger is on your to-do-list. We guarantee you’ll love it.
