Calling Riverside Lane home, Shopology is the place to go in Christchurch when you need something special or a nice dose of retail therapy. Be it a housewarming gift for your best friend, a present for that hard-to-buy-for family member’s birthday or perhaps just a little (or big!) something for yourself.

The location of Shopology is one of the things that makes the retail experience here so special. Located down Riverside Lane, which connects Riverside Market and Cashel Street, the small businesses down the laneway have a true community feel. Katie Bromley, the owner of Shopology, loves being on the lane and alongside her amazing team, who are all incredibly knowledgeable about the products they stock in store and are always at the ready with ideas and suggestions.

When it comes to the brands and items you’ll find in Shopology, the curation and sourcing of these is done with a lot of thought at care at Katie’s end. She loves to support amazing local New Zealand artists whilst at the same time, showcasing beautiful pieces from around the world that she knows Ōtautahi locals will love. In addition to art, you’ll find wool blankets, a small selection of baby items, jewellery, accessories, homewares, and women’s clothing, including Untouched World - Shopology is the only place in the city centre to stock the brand.

Shopology is one of those stores that, once you discover it, you will find any excuse possible to keep visiting. Curated living at its best - it will become your go-to for all kinds of gifting scenarios or for those moments when you need to spark some joy with a new candle or cosy rug in your own home.
