Specialising in all things vintage, retro and collectible, Fossick has become a real treasure haven for unique finds in Hamilton. This co-operative store brings together eight passionate collectors, each offering their own carefully curated collections to the community. From records and decor to rare memorabilia, there is a diverse and ever-changing mix of items for passionate collectors and curious shoppers alike.

The idea for Fossick was born from a group of friends with extensive collections looking for a way to sell their items. By pooling resources and sharing responsibilities, they are able to ensure consistent hours, one of the keys to Fossick’s success. The store is also heavily involved with the community, and through word-of-mouth, social media, and local events, a loyal customer base has become part of Fossick’s landscape. The collectors behind the co-op love to meet people in-store, find common interests and deep-dive into niche hobby areas or items with the community.

Inside, you’ll find an eclectic mix of items, from an old-school jukebox, vintage posters to rare records and quirky home decor. Fossick’s stock is ever-changing, so every visit is an adventure with something new to discover. More often than not, it’s also a trip down memory lane. The store also hosts events, supports local musicians, and provides a central lounge space where locals can interact, adding to its lively atmosphere.

Fossick is so much more than just a store, it’s a vibrant part of Hamilton’s scene, blending nostalgia with community spirit. Whether you’re hunting for a one-of-a-kind piece or just want to soak in the retro vibes, Fossick delivers a shopping experience full of character and charm. Through its sustainability focus and the collective’s passion for rare finds, Fossick has established itself as a beloved part of Hamilton’s retail landscape and the go-to destination for anyone with an appreciation for vintage culture.
