In the heart of Kirikiriroa’s CBD, Different Avenue (formerly known as Again and Again) has carved out a sunny, stylish store of sustainability. It’s a meeting point for quality, fashion, and a fresh perspective on secondhand shopping. Specialising in mid-range to high-end clothing, accessories, and footwear, the ethos is simple yet powerful: give great pieces another life, over and over again. Whether you’re clearing space in your wardrobe or hunting for a hidden treasure, Different Avenue is somewhere that style and circularity effortlessly combine.

Founded in 2022 by Jahdiel, Different Avenue is the product of both personal history and bold action. Growing up without continuous access to the “cool” new clothes her peers often had, preloved shopping was a way of life - one that shaped her unique sense of style and deep appreciation for quality. With that background, she took a leap into business ownership, determined to show that secondhand can be just as covetable, well-made, and exciting as anything brand new. There was no long business plan or intricate backstory, just a mission to make sustainable style the norm.

Step inside, and you’re greeted by sunlight streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows, bouncing off the high ceilings and curated racks of well-loved pieces. The collection is a carefully balanced mix of labels like Moochi, Ruby, Marle, Kowtow, and Country Road, alongside finds from all over the world. Every garment has been chosen for its quality of fabric, tailoring, and appeal. For knitwear lovers, winter is a particular treat here: Jahdiel admits she’s “literally obsessed,” so the cooler months bring one of the best curated knit selections in town.

At its core, Different Avenue is about more than clothes; it’s about reshaping habits and mindsets. Every item on the racks represents a step toward a lighter footprint and a community that values reimagining what fashion can be. Shoppers often need a moment to realise that the beautiful dress or perfectly cut blazer they’re holding is secondhand, and that, to Jahdiel, is exactly the point. As the store continues to grow, its vision remains clear: to make it easy, enjoyable, and stylish to choose preloved, keeping quality garments in circulation for years to come. In doing so, Different Avenue helps each piece find a new home, ready to be loved, worn, and celebrated, again and again.
