Cosy and colourful, visit Sabroso for a laidback, authentic Latin American atmosphere. The menu features dishes infused with traditional Central and South American flair, plus some seriously good margaritas. Small and dimly lit, this eatery has a certain ‘go-slow’ appeal which makes it all the easier to sit back with a menu and slowly make your way through the courses. If you’re a Spanish speaker you’ll be familiar with the names of the dishes, and if you need some help, there are handy descriptions of what to expect underneath each item.
Full of classic Latino warmth and hospitality, you can expect to feel like more of an old friend here than a customer as the team strives to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Start your meal with an appetiser (the Escabeche de Pescado is our pick), followed by a main (the Chimichanga, a cheese-filled, fried flour tortilla is a super yum option) and then wrap up your experience with something from the sweet menu. The kind of place that focuses on doing a select few things very well, you can rest easy knowing a dinner date at Sabroso is easily the best choice you’ll make all day.
