77 Art + Living

77 Main Street, Fairlie

021 797 984

Fairlie might not be the first town that comes to mind when thinking of wonderful independent galleries across the motu, but 77 Art + Living is here to change that. The carefully curated gallery space is a delightful encounter and a destination in itself.

77 Art + Living is unpretentious and inviting; anyone can walk through the doors and feel comfortable. Set up by art enthusiast Bella Miller, the gallery aspires to showcase and support local New Zealand artists, including her husband Charlie Miller, who works with oil on canvas.

Expect to admire a variety of artworks in different mediums made predominantly by South Canterbury artists, along with hand-made jewellery and boutique fragrances. Bella takes pride in representing a mixture of well-known and emerging artists, as well as displaying unique, original pieces that you won’t come across elsewhere.

For those who are unable to visit this petite gem in the Mackenzie country, the gallery has an extensive website for your browsing pleasure.
