Aesthetic is what The Workroom does best, so it’s not surprising walking in is a pleasure in itself. Timber floors, soft neutral colours, throws and bright bursts of expertly arranged flowers mean it’s easy to trust these professionals when it comes to designing your interiors. This 100-year-old cottage is now home to some of the most beautiful homewares, linen, prints and flowers in town.

The all-women team work alongside Anna, the interior designer/owner, keeping the place running smoothly whilst more than happy to help the multitude of customers that come in requesting re-covering of furniture, help with curtains or advice on what to put in their holiday home. Carefully selected furniture and homewares from all around the globe (India, Mexico, Bali and France to name a few) spill out onto the street front.

The place to go for interior design, floristry and sourcing of furniture, both out-of-towners and locals who are looking to furnish their Wānaka dream home have an impeccable team in Workroom.
