For anyone looking to adorn their flesh temples, Absolution provides a stylish contemporary studio setting for anything tattoo and body-piercing related. A stalwart of the Christchurch inner-city scene, their experienced staff ensures you'll be in capable hands.
If you're interested in body piercings, Absolution provides fully aseptic and safe procedures in a piercing-gun-free environment. They also offer a wide selection of the finest body jewellery available, sourced internationally from the best manufacturers on the planet. What's more? They're home to two of only three APP ‘Association of Professional Piercers’ members nationwide.
If it’s ink you’re after, Absolution is home to multiple resident artists, each happy to offer free consultations to discuss your ideas and turn those mental images into head-turning street fodder. They also play host to a variety of travelling guest artists from New Zealand, and around the world.
Having relocated to their new forever home in December 2017, you can find Absolution nestled in the back corner on the ground floor of The Arts Centre's Boys High Building. You may mistake it for a gallery space, (because it is) and the exhibition schedule changes every 4-6 weeks.
