At the corner of Montreal and Worcester Streets you’ll find Fiddlesticks, a popular bistro and after work hangout with an unmatched atmosphere and food and beverage to boot.

The space, which was once the famed Le Bon Bolli restaurant, is a clever overlay of contemporary style and eccentric features that blend pine wood paneling with low hanging lights for a cosy, laid back feel. The staff are consistently welcoming whether you’re in for brunch, a leisurely lunch or a full on dinner party.

If you visit during the day time take a seat in the sun filled front rooms and enjoy views of stunning Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū, located just across the street. Then explore Fiddlestick's menu which is full of exciting options and features local ingredients wherever possible.

The F.F.C (Fiddlesticks Fried Chicken) is a time tested favourite that comes with green tomato chutney and sriracha. The crispy crunch and zingy sauces make it a complete treat day or night. For a larger plate check out dishes such as the Canterbury lamb shoulder served with potato galette, carrot puree and crushed peas.

One special option found here is the ‘Fiddlesticks Feature Feast’ a bespoke meal for two that showcases the very best of the restaurant's menu at whatever time you happen to visit. Because Fiddlesticks sources fresh ingredients from local suppliers like Theo Fisheries and Greengold Gardens they’ve always got new seasonal dishes to try - the feast makes it easy to sample them all.

Don’t miss Fiddlesticks cocktails, wines and signature drinks like the sweet but not too sweet ‘Just Peachy’ - Finlandia Vodka, peach, lemon, cranberry, mint and ginger. The Rum & Bass, meanwhile, is anything but a standard rum drink and is made with Stolen smoked rum, passionfruit, lemon, tamarind and pandan leaf.

With plenty of food and drink to choose from and an unbeatable central city location Fiddlesticks has truly got it all. The space can even be hired for events.
