Bread and sweets fly out the door from 7:00am onwards at this popular bakery. Spice up your usual bakery experience with creative takes on old classics like the pork, apple and fennel sausage rolls, jalapeño cheddar scones and white chocolate brownie.
A busy coffee machine sees the caffeine-needy through the day, or choose an alternative from the cold drinks fridge. Baked onsite, the bread is worth trekking over town for, and only those in quick will get their hands on the famous Volare grain bread; latecomers will have to settle with the next best - ciabatta, turmeric loaf, or San Francisco sourdough, to name a few.
The cabinet stocks some of the aforementioned bread in the form of chunky and wholesome sandwiches, and sweet eaters will be tempted by some of the best cookies in town, crispy danishes or Volare’s very own take on a cronut. There's also award-winning custard squares and Hot Cross Buns, when the season calls for it. Well-loved by locals, this expert bakery gives back by donating excess food to community groups.
