A laid-back dining spot in Levin that brings the energy of a family BBQ (except it’s indoors!), Cambridge Lane is one of those homey eateries where good food meets good company.

Housed in a reimagined vintage factory, this Levin favourite, which easily seats a hundred, is constantly abuzz with life. The sounds of friends chatting and children laughing mingle with the irresistible aroma of wood-fired pizza. Spacious yet cosy, and with a strong family vibe, it effortlessly blends contemporary cool with rustic charm. It’s the kind of place that makes everyone feel instantly at home.

What began as a humble pizzeria has grown into something much bigger: a one-stop destination for great eats under one roof. Today, Cambridge Lane serves four distinct menus - wood-fired pizza, burgers, Mexican, and desserts, all made with care and a sprinkling of showmanship. Watching the chefs work their magic in the open kitchen is part of the fun; the glowing woodfired ovens are the heart of the room, where brioche burger buns are toasted to perfection and handmade pizza bases crisp up just right.

The food here has earned a loyal local following. The Big Mad Mac Dad pizza, a cheeky nod to a certain fast-food favourite, is the stuff of legend. Meanwhile, burritos packed with bold, balanced flavours hit all the right notes, and burgers are made the old-school way with real meat and in-house sauces. And don’t skip the desserts, boasting familiar Kiwi classics and freshly made waffles with New Zealand ice cream.

Now arguably Levin’s busiest weekend eatery, Cambridge Lane is where big groups come together, stories are shared, and no one leaves hungry. It’s cool, classy, and fun for the whole family, proof that great food and great company never go out of style.
