A place where every corner of the colour wheel seems to coexist in harmony, Eclectic Design House on Jackson Street effortlessly blends the stylish with the sophisticated, the understated with the riotously colourful.

The vibe is, as the name would suggest, unapologetically eclectic. Rich hues, layered textures, and playful contrasts create an atmosphere that feels inspiring and a little bit luxurious, without ever tipping into precious. Sharing the space with Rosie from Flowers Et Cetera adds another dimension altogether, with sculptural blooms and natural forms weaving through the store and amplifying the sense of whimsy. Together, the two creative outfits foster a dynamic, mutli-faceted environment that rewards slow browsing and curiosity.

On the sleek, black shelves and display tables you’ll find Joug Design lampshades, alongside owner Djurdjica’s bespoke range of fashion, textiles, and art. Silk scarves and kaftans feature original artwork and are produced in limited runs, making each piece feel special and timeless. Velvet cushions draw on botanical and moth motifs, with a nod to the dramatic style of Timorous Beasties. Greeting cards and Giclée prints span digital collage, screen print, acrylic, and letterpress work, all unmistakably the work of Djurdjica.

With its fearless approach to design and joyful juxtaposition of styles and influences, Eclectic Design House is the end product of an artistic powerhouse’s clear creative vision and love of all things that are a little bit different.
