Nestled in the heart of Paraparaumu’s industrial precinct, The Bond Store is a quirky distillery that brings a splash of colour, energy, and irresistibly good spirits to the area.

At first glance, the big, grey block of a building seems to blend in naturally with the neighbouring warehouses. But follow the striking turquoise bands plastered across the front (along with the other pops of colour) and head indoors to this Willy Wonka-esque playground for lovers of gins, cocktails, and other tipples that will get the conversations flowing. At times, it feels like being in a fever dream, as flamingoes and unicorns soar above the glistening copper contraptions, disco balls, and all manner of weird and wonderful artefacts. The Bond Store wants you to remember that it’s no highbrow distillery, but rather a humble makery of spirits - here you’re invited to kick back and not take yourself too seriously.

Wander around the cavernous space and explore The Bond Store’s eclectic products, from their renowned gins to their premium canned Cocktail Collusion range and a selection of spirits and liqueurs. Take a tour if you want to really learn the ins and outs of this working distillery, or unwind in the outdoor area with a gin and tonic and locally sourced food platter. We’ve said it before - there’s a lot to unpack here, and you certainly won’t be leaving bored.

A proud family business that’s all about bringing good vibes to the Kāpiti Coast, The Bond Store is laid-back, unpretentious, and simply wants everyone to have a good time. You won’t find snobby high-end goods here - just well-priced, high-quality beverages that will have everyone coming together for a bit of fun. Cheers to that!
