Kick back and watch the sun set over the Kāpiti Coast, and if you’re feeling peckish, whip up a feast in the lean-to just by the cabin, which features a sheltered barbecue space. There’s plenty to keep you occupied around the cabin - outdoor darts, cards, yoga mats - and if you feel like giving your legs a proper stretch, there’s a beautiful walking track behind the cabin that takes you through an ancient stand of Macrocarpa trees.

A visit to Falcon Ridge will make you at one with nature in more ways than one.
