Hot Tubs Omarama is home to world class rest and relaxation in the form of outdoor cedar hot tubs. Travel, while fun, almost always gets tiresome, so make sure to put this rejuvenating spot on the itinerary.

Each standard booking at Hot Tubs Omarama lasts an hour and a half. With it, you’ll get your very own hot tub and changing room. There’s also the hot tub and sauna option, which includes the private hot tub, changing room and sauna – these bookings last two full hours for maximum relaxation and restoration. The tubs are all nestled into their own private environments around the property’s lake, which gives every soak a totally secluded feel.

When you arrive at your tub it will already be filled and heated with fresh mountain water. Hop in and adjust the temperature to your liking, breathe in the cedar smell and take in the sweeping views of Otago’s rugged, sometimes snow-capped peaks. If you’ve come for an evening soak, you’ll be treated to one of the country’s darkest and, therefore, most luminous night skies. No chemicals are used in the hot tubs, and they’re cleaned and re-filled between each use. All you have to do here is sit back and relax.

This unique spot is right off the main road, which makes it an easy stop-in. Once you’re soaking though, you’ll feel a million miles from anything. Feel free to bring your whole party, too. The largest tubs fit eight people, and kids will get a kick out of stoking the tub throughout the booking. Even Alps to Ocean riders can get their fill here as it’s conveniently located on the third day of the trail.
