Orlando Store is only a hop, skip and jump from the edge of Palmerston North, overlooking the stunning Tararua ranges. The elegant homeware and baby store is owned and managed by Emma and Jet; who are commonly mistaken for twins, but are really just sisters with similarly sensational style. Attributing their flair to their extremely on-trend mother, the duo have curated a beautiful wooden space featuring tastefully-chosen products that complement everyday modern living with classic style.

The majority of the products available in store (and online) are from New Zealand businesses, and are carefully selected by the stylish sisters to showcase their favourite local brands. Customers love knowing the origin of the products and what makes them unique, so Emma and Jet find themselves constantly learning about what makes local producers tick. Some of their personal favourites include Slow Life, Dimples, Honest Wolf, Miller Road, Ruanui Station and Eddy & Moss.

Orlando Store is nestled in the sprawling grounds of Orlando Country - once a humble farm which has since been transformed into an acclaimed wedding, events and corporate venue. It’s truly a family affair, run by Emma, Jet, their parents and two brothers. Guests at Orlando Country can also visit the onsite cafe and bar, or test their golf skills at the driving range or on the 9-hole golf course. There is even a stunning chapel on site. With the opening of Orlando Store, visitors can browse a range of high quality New Zealand products that are made to be treasured, and will look at home in any room of the house.

With the goal of bringing a spark to the Manawatū shopping scene, Orlando Store succeeds in creating a beautiful shopping experience, whether in the brick-and-mortar or online. And for those wondering where the name ‘Orlando’ comes from: it’s the legacy of the family’s extremely successful show pony.
