Hidden downstairs from its sister restaurant Margo’s, this underground cocktail bar in Queenstown makes it immediately clear that having fun runs in this family’s genes. Coated in a vivid colour combo of papaya orange and deep green, Little Mez by Margo's is a go-to for cocktail enthusiasts or for those who simply enjoy sipping on sunshine in a cosy low-lit space.

Whatever you’re into, you’ll find it amongst the extensive cocktail menu, start off with one of their Little Cocktails if you're having trouble choosing, a perfectly petite sized cocktail. A special mention must be given to the exciting non-alcoholic options for our sober curious friends.

The knowledgeable bartenders are always up for a chat and can mix you up something special whether you’re into smoky and herbaceous or crisp and spicy flavour profiles.

When the ache for a good bite kicks in, there’s no need to bid your farewells. Little Mez by Margo’s dishes up a vibrant selection of hearty, flavour-loaded sharing plates from the Margo’s kitchen, think Chapultepec Style prawn cocktail, glorious Chicken Tinga taquitos, zesty bowls of smashed guacamole and more.

As a date night spot, a venue for hosting your next party, or a regular for you and your best mates to gather, Little Mez by Margo’s wins every time. It’s underground, unexpected, and unforgettable. Slide in early for Taco Hour: one cocktail and two tacos for $36, every day from 6–7pm, or stay late for happy hour drinks from 9–10pm. That’s dinner, drinks, and a damn good time, all in one.
