Café Verde in Geraldine is known for its luscious garden setting and outstanding food. Located in an old phone-exchange building, this is the local café-goers meeting spot where generations of friends and family come together over a cuppa.

The emphasis at Café Verde is on its seasonal changing brunch and lunch menu, consistent coffee and cabinet food done well. Various dietary requirements have been taken into account with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options aplenty.

Find a spot amongst the flowers in the garden or park up along the rose-lined veranda to enjoy the atmosphere. If the weather is less than ideal for outdoor eating, head indoors where you’ll find the walls adorned with local art, all of which is for sale and some of which were created by one of the café owners.

If you’re on the run with no time to hang around, the good people behind the counter here are quick at pouring a take out coffee and slipping your bite of choice in a paper bag to be enjoyed on the road.
