We love to kick back and put our feet up, but it wasn’t until we sank into a Wilson & Dorset Sheepskin Shaggy Bean Bag that we discovered the ultimate way to lounge. What a revelation.

Founded by husband-and-wife duo Ben Wilson and Amanda Dorset, the luxury sheepskin brand has been supplying both locals and worldwide customers with luxurious, made-to-last pieces for well over a decade. Inspired by their surroundings in the jaw-droppingly beautiful Wānaka, the philosophy behind Wilson & Dorset has always been about bringing nature into the home, encouraging families to slow down and reconnect with the environment and each other.

Stepping into the Wilson & Dorset Concept Lounge is quite literally like walking into a cuddle. You’ll find layers upon layers of pure New Zealand sheepskin goodness, all of which is 100% Woolmark Certified, and of course, sumptuously soft. You may think you’re coming in for a browse but don’t be surprised if you find yourself sinking into a pillowy nook as you contemplate how you get a full-sized bean bag into your carry-on luggage. There are, of course, plenty of smaller accessories if you want to bring home a token of the Southern Alps. Complementing the Wilson & Dorset range in-store is an array of local and natural products for the conscious buyer, including furniture, ceramics and even cosy slippers.

You may never want to leave this rather inviting space – don’t say we didn’t warn you. The good news is you can turn your home into the sanctuary you never want to leave. We suggest starting with that Shaggy Bean Bag…
