Joe & Joy is a husband-wife-run bakery and cafe in the heart of Waikanae village. This place is a feel-good destination where you are welcomed with a smile and where the cabinet is abundant

A simple ethos of bringing joy to people through great coffee and delicious baked goods is at the heart of it all at Joe & Joy. The bakers here work through the night to ensure customers get fresh, quality products. Delicious flaky pastry pies, decadent cakes, loaded doughnuts (such as the ever-famous creme brulee doughnut), sandwiches, slices, bagels and quiches are crafted daily from the Joe & Joy kitchen. Most items can be delivered to your doorstep via their online ordering system, ideal if you can't be bothered changing out of your pajamas. Famous for their cakes, Joe & Joy also do event catering.

While the cabinet is where it's at, the menu also boasts plenty of options to fill a bigger gap. Think burgers, waffles and brunch options aplenty. Fresh bread flies out the door daily too, so get in early if you fancy a loaf to take home.
