Fork N Knife
Available for private functions
Tucked in behind The Arizona, you’ll discover Fork N Knife, an intimate private function space that goes the distance when it comes to contemporary New Zealand cuisine. Owned and operated by young Taranaki couple Jeremy and Brittany Webling, Fork n Knife strikes the magic blend of relaxed dining with elevated culinary execution.
Once you’ve booked (for anywhere between 20 - 40 people), you and your friends can sink into your seats - pillows and all - and prepare for the memories of the day to slide away as you embark on a 4-course voyage for your senses. Fork N Knife aims to serve a delicious array of seasonal and locally-sourced produce prepared with flair, and boy oh boy do they do that in spades. A handsome wine and beer list has been handpicked by the proprietors showcasing the best of New Zealand and afar.
The paired back interior is simple yet discerning. And as it turns to dusk, a sea of candles offers glimmering amber light making a beautiful ambient setting. The space is pint-sized but perfect for a bespoke function like a milestone birthday or post-wedding celebration. Muted colours adorn the ceiling thanks to bushels of dried flowers and a handful of striking paintings flesh out the interior design.
The friendly service is pitched just right and what Jeremy and Brittany have created at Fork N Knife is an experience akin to home. In fact, you can actually have them come to your home too. They offer a private dining experience called Fork n Whare for 8+ people where they take the whole experience into people's homes, now that’s pretty neat.
