Begin your visit at The Herb Farm in Ashurst, just outside the main centre of Palmerston North, with a peaceful stroll through the gardens, where rows of herbs and flowers grow in harmony. From there, step into the shop and café, a space created to celebrate natural wellbeing. Here you’ll find creams, serums and masks that carry the essence of the gardens, crafted with fresh herbal extracts just beyond the door.
Hosting their world-renowned Wild Yam Cream and the thoughtfully created skincare systems, each infused with herbs such as Calendula, Comfrey and Japanese Menthol Mint. The connection between garden and product is clear, with the fragrance of fresh herbs carrying through every part of the experience.
After exploring the shop, take some time to refuel in the café. The cabinet offers freshly baked treats to enjoy with a coffee, while the menu highlights nourishing meals made with seasonal produce, herbs and edible flowers from the gardens. The Buddha Bowl is a favourite, bringing together roasted vegetables, chickpeas, their famous herb dressing, pickled cabbage and your choice of protein.
Workshops and events are also held regularly in the seminar space, offering opportunities to learn, create and connect. The Herb Farm is a place to slow down, discover and enjoy the simple goodness of nature.
