Suite Gallery

Housed within a landmark heritage building on Ponsonby Road, Suite Gallery is a contemporary art space showcasing photography, painting and sculpture. Spread across two levels, the gallery offers a calm, light-filled environment where visitors can move freely between rooms, taking it all in.

There’s a strong sense of cohesion throughout, despite the diversity of work on display. You’ll often find a big range of things in a small space, but nothing ever seems to feel too out of place. Pieces by established artists sit comfortably alongside newcomers, with each room offering something slightly different. Upstairs, you’ll find a permanent display of Ans Westra’s photography, while downstairs opens out to a street-front gallery, an open office space and a courtyard sculpture yard framed by a bold design from artist Wayne Youle.
