Takapuna has finally got a hub for organic, whole food produce and cuisine. A large, open space great for the whole family, Street Organics is the burgeonings of a whole foods community, passionate about organic, ethically sourced goods.

A large café/restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and take home meals, where everything is house made from locally grown organic produce whenever possible. Organic, pre-prepared meals are available for you to take home - packaged as either meat or vegan with brown rice or cauliflower rice - all made from scratch in their kitchen.

Almond milk is made fresh daily using only transitional and organic nuts (25c refund if you return the jar). And what would a modern organics cafe be without a healthy dose of probiotics? Street Organics brew their own kombucha (of course) and an Apple Cider Vinegar ‘lemonade’ sure to kick start your detox.

“Eat food. Not too much. Mostly Plants.” This haiku by Michael Pollan sums up the mission of Street Organics, written on a chalk board on the wall. The space is open, airy with greenery on the walls and a variety of different tables and seating depending on your vibe. They also offer free wifi for those wanting to study with a dose of healthy smoothie (or a ‘house speciality’ iced coffee served with coconut ice cream…).

Street Organics is a welcome addition to Takapuna, set on making their mark in the growing industry of wholefoods.
