Tastebuds at the ready, the Korean cuisine legends behind OCKHEE have opened up their new venture on Kitchener Street; Swings.  Set to be the CBDs home of Korean-style street food and sip-worthy natural wine, you’ll find us here for lunch on the regular.

Their simple menu packs a punch in all things flavour, focusing on one-of-a-kind toasted sandwiches and moreish sides. Add to your order a hot brew in the AM or bubbles in the afternoon, and consider the meal sorted.

While their toastie line-up may evolve over time, the founding sandwiches are the definition of drool-worthy. Entry-level options include the Daily, a classic combo of egg, ham and cheese, or the Rocker, adding in a speciality condensed milk and Gochujang sauce.

Level things up with the Bully, a mix of egg, lettuce and marinated beef with mayo and Bulgogi sauce—serious Big Mac vibes. Vegans are also sorted with the Mush Mash, a flavour bomb of enoki mushrooms, hashbrowns, cabbage and sweet chilli sauce.

Now it wouldn’t be a meal without sides. The fried chicken skewers are a go-to and even have a spicy upgrade for the brave. Or, round things out with the rice cake skewers elegantly dripping in sweet chilli sauce.Tired of just reading about top-notch toasted sammies? Make tracks down to Swings—you can thank us later.
