Redcliffs locals and anyone who regularly visits Christchurch’s seaside suburbs were overjoyed when Two Thumb Brewing Co. opened their Main Road brew bar in April 2025. Exuding the relaxed, homey vibes Two Thumb is known for, not to mention being able to taste and try their epic beer range, this pub quickly garnered a lineup of regulars.

Occupying a corner site on Redcliff’s Main Road, this Two Thumb location is perfectly situated for walkers, runners and cyclists out and about to pop in, rest their legs, enjoy a pint and be on their way again. Or perhaps forget about their original purpose and settle in for another of Two Thumb’s finest! It also attracts families and dog owners, with the pub being welcoming to all, it’s all about community spirit here, and there’s plenty to keep every member of the family happy. With colouring in and board games for the kids (and those young at heart), live music for the adults, and treats available for your canine pals.

The interior instantly makes you feel at home, with a variety of seating options to suit every group, from longer high tables to cosy couches. There’s a sunny courtyard out the back which provides more tables and a chance to breathe in the fresh sea air, being only metres from the beach. It’s also where the Food Dude food truck hangs out, the source of the tasty tacos, grilled cheese, loaded fries and more.

Craft beers are what the Two Thumb Brewing Co. are known for, and you’ll get all the classics from their range, plus their latest hits and seasonal specials at this Redcliffs location. Their cocktail lineup is also proving to be very popular, with the ‘Lagerita’, a take on a margarita featuring their Two Thumb lager, grabbing lots of attention.

Whether you’re looking for a new local watering hole to savour a pint after work or a spot to take the kids on the weekend that you can all enjoy, Two Thumb’s Redcliffs outpost ticks all the boxes.
