Open seven days a week, Oscar and Otto has earned its reputation as one of Tauranga’s most well known eateries for its consistently compelling offering and friendly service. Oscar & Otto is frequented not just by city dwellers and workers, but also by visitors who come for the top quality menu and prime location, adjacent to Tauranga’s waterfront.

Otto itself is a light, bright and modern cafe, Scandinavian in design with an inspired breakfast and lunch menu. Oscar is darker in its aesthetic and operates primarily as a boutique function space, as well as catering to the cafe’s overflow when needed.

The highly enticing menu at Cafe Otto is bolstered further by an interesting array of rolls, slices, salads and assorted cabinet offerings. The decadently arranged cookies are particularly hard to go past, as is the ginger crunch. Signature dishes include the pork belly breakfast along with the duck risotto and the chicken, barley and kale salad.

The standard for any good cafe is a great coffee, so you can expect Oscar & Otto to hit their mark. In addition to freshly brewed espresso, there are freshly-made juices and smoothies available, as well as a select range of wine, beer and cocktails. On top of the great food and drinks, it is the engaging friendly service that will have you wanting to return to Oscar & Otto again.

The vision for Oscar & Otto is to deliver an elevated standard of food and service to daytime dining, offering table service and restaurant quality meals in a fast-paced cafe environment. Consistently busy, the recipe is delivering on its promise.
