Strawberry Tree Kaikōura

A true Kaikōura institution, Strawberry Tree is a quirky Irish Bar and live music venue that also serves up some of the best grub in town.

Sit by the crackling open fire with a pint in hand and listen to local musicians do their thing; dig your teeth into one of the famous burgers (think pāua, pulled jackfruit and your classic beef) out in the back garden or find a table inside the restaurant and enjoy the popular flounder (we’re talking a whole fish) or the Kaikōura classic: crayfish.
