Located directly across the road from the beachfront, Kaikōura Boutique Hotel is a beautifully restored late 1800s hotel, offering unique accommodation options just a stone's throw from town.
Choose from the luxurious five-star ocean-view rooms upstairs (complete with your private balcony) or the stylishly decorated (lovers of Marimekko, you’ll be right at home here) courtyard rooms out back.
At street level you’ll find the Boo Teek Café & Bar, that is open to the public every day from 7am to 7pm. The French inspired eatery offers a selection of sweet treats from macarons to pastries and glorious cakes, and a breakfast and brunch menu. There are also afternoon grazing platters brimming with French pates, parfaits and terrines and local cheeses together with aforementioned sweet treats. On the bar side you’ll find a great wine list consisting of local wines, Kaikōura’s own Emporium Brewery beers and house speciality: Martinis.
The Boutique Hotel is a great place to retreat after a day filled with exploring all that Kaikōura has to offer. Also operated by the owners of the hotel, a private resort golf course and day spa – sort bookings out at reception.
