Located in a sunny pocket on Arrowtown's Ramshaw Lane, Bunnies is a designer boutique with a twist. Founded in 2021 by Jen Catley, the store brings together a range of new and pre-loved designer clothing, shoes, bags and accessories. With the belief that secondhand pieces deserve to share the spotlight with their brand-new counterparts, Jen blends these styles together on the racks – so you’d never guess which was which.
One of the first things that strikes us upon entering this designer boutique on Ramshaw Lane is the kaleidoscope of colours and patterns. Unlike more conventional retailers, it’s rare to find two similar shades or labels sitting side by side here. Instead, Bunnies invites you to look beyond your comfort colours or brands and discover something truly unique. Basically, it’s anything but beige.
Whatever occasions are filling your calendar, chances are Bunnies has just the outfit to go with it. Whether it’s a chic wedding guest dress, garden party sandals, bright and cosy knitwear for winter adventures, everyday sneakers or statement jewellery – something magical is bound to happen in the fitting rooms.
And for those looking to bid adieu to designer pieces sitting untouched in their own wardrobes, Bunnies extends a helping hand with its consignment service. By offering to sell items on your behalf, it’s easier than ever to not only declutter, but ensure fashion continues to live on in someone else’s story.
Bunnies rewrites the rules of shopping, encouraging customers to adopt a more conscious mindset when consuming designer pieces. It’s a refreshing approach that deserves plenty of applause.
