The first rule of Numa Skin & Body Club: you tell absolutely everyone you can about it, because it’s just that good and some things shouldn’t be gatekept.

This Wellington wellness-focused beauty destination reimagines skincare as something more restorative and holistic, centred on long-term results that last rather than quick hits. You sense it the moment you step into the gorgeous Customhouse Quay clinic. A warm gentle palette, an airy openness, and a spotless fitout create a space that feels clean but not overly clinical, soothing without feeling sterile. Everything has been designed around comfort and ease, with a welcoming atmosphere that encourages you to slow down and feel transported away from the busyness of the city.

That’s the ethos behind New Zealand’s first membership-based skin and wellness gym, encouraging regular self-care over one-off fixes. Whether you’re treating yourself to a one-off visit or building a regular self-care routine, Numa aims to support you wherever you are on your skin and wellness journey.

Numa’s simplified menu offers three different levels of facials, personalised to what your skin needs on the day. Each incorporates their specialty face-lifting massage and lymphatic drainage techniques to lift, tone, and refresh. The advanced levels can include skin infusions, masks, peels, and microneedling to focus on targeted skin concerns and improve skin health. Eye grooming services include brow shaping, brow tinting, lash tinting and lash and brow lifts. Beyond the treatment bed, infrared sauna sessions, LED therapy, massage, and contrast therapy round out the experience, making it just as much about feeling good as looking good.

Derived from the Greek word pneuma, meaning ‘breath of life’, Numa’s philosophy is grounded in long-term vitality, breathing energy back into both skin and self. Because while a facial might leave you glowing for a few days, a ritual of regular care can shift the way you feel entirely.
