Winning hearts as well as awards is Faradays, a luxury retail store nestled in Auckland’s charming Parnell district. Since opening its doors in 2021, Faradays has redefined high-end shopping, prioritizing quality and creating an experience that invigorates all the senses.

Housed in the heritage listed Textile Centre, Faradays seamlessly blends historical charm with modern elegance. The interior fit-out is also a sight to behold, with its stunning mix of raw materials and refined finishes. The furnishings are all custom-made and the walls and surfaces were meticulously designed - ensuring every detail plays a part in the store’s atmosphere. Even the florals have been carefully curated - by the inhouse florist of course!

As far as offerings go, Faradays has a focus on exclusivity and quality. The store boasts a range of products from some of the world’s best fashion houses, featuring prestigious brands such as Alaïa, Celine, and Loewe. Beyond fashion, the in-house French-focused wine bar serves Ruinart champagne, and you can enjoy fresh coffee and pastries from Amano. Take part in sipping champagne while browsing ready-to-wear collections— you’ll feel like you’ve come straight from shopping with Sarah Jessica Parker during Sex in the City!

Faradays hopes to bring a unique and sophisticated touch to Auckland’s retail scene. As an independently owned business, it offers brands and collections exclusive to Faradays, fostering an appreciation for timeless, crafted pieces. More than just a store, Faradays is an escape that combines luxury with a sense of discovery. By curating special pieces from around the globe and presenting them in such a beautiful setting, Faradays enriches Auckland’s cultural and commercial landscape, setting a new standard for luxury retail.
