A self-declared lover of pink and gold, owner and operator Amelia has managed to turn this specialty homeware shop into a colourful haven where even the pink floor is almost too pretty to walk on. A real eye for detail and a love of interiors mean Smack Bang is nothing short of stunning – and with pet products the main partner to the homewares, animal lovers best visit here to make sure their furry friends don’t miss out on beautiful things either.

Don’t be confused by the mini jackets on the back wall, they’re not for small humans, they’re for small dogs, and with products from Australia, USA and South Korea (who are mad about small animals) you can rest easy knowing your pet is getting the best of the best when it comes to plush beds, fancy shampoo and quality leads and collars. The animal teepees set up in the window are enough to make passerby’s look twice, and if they’re curious enough to come in for a look they’ll find quirky cat nip toys, nose and paw balm for dogs and DJ scratch pads too. If it’s a gift for a human friend you’re after, then Smack Bang can help out there too. Beautiful cards, candles, calendars, prints and throws make for an easy present that’s a little out of the ordinary.

Recently releasing their online store means shopping at Smack Bang has never been easier, although there’s no real replacement for visiting in person, where your canine pals are more than welcome to come in for a pat (or a free Garage Project dog treat!) too.
