Clothing stores abound in Wellington, but Sully’s is one of those that feels like a breath of fresh air the moment you walk in. Light-filled and buzzing with colour, it’s an inviting, upbeat space where thoughtful curation meets a genuine passion for style.
Owner Hannah Sullivan launched Sully’s - an homage to her family name - to bring something fresh to Wellington: a collection of inspiring, hard-to-find brands with a sense of story and individuality. The fitout of this Ghuznee Street spot leans into simplicity and charm, letting the products do the talking. Bright walls, playful displays, and a welcoming energy set the tone, making it a place where you’ll want to linger. Ceiling-to-floor windows wrap around the storefront, lending the store a sense of transparency. And aptly so - despite curating threads from near and far, sustainability is at the core of the Sully’s ethos.
Every item on the floor has been carefully chosen, with a range that champions both international labels and local talent. You’ll spot pieces from cult global names like Cawley, Brooke Callahan, Verner, Simuero, Sage Quintessence, Bichon, and Jess Grindell - brands not often seen on New Zealand shores. Adding to the mix is a curated preloved section, sourced through customer consignments. It’s a small but ever-evolving part of the shop, offering treasures that sit seamlessly alongside the new.
Everything in Sully’s feels like it’s been selected with heart, creating a shopping experience that's fresh, inspiring, and full of surprises. Whether you're after something new, something with a backstory, or something you didn’t even know you needed, Sully’s is the place where it all comes together.
